Community Outreach

At Sluss+Padgett we take great pride in giving back to the community and impacting the lives of our future generation. We have partnered over the years with several community impact programs such as:

• Eagle Ranch - a nonprofit organization that helps make life better for children and families going through a crisis. Sluss+Padgett donated time and materials to help build the girl's pavilion at Eagle Ranch. We continue to support and partner with this organization and the work they are doing to impact the lives of our youth to ensure a better future.
  
  
• Atlanta Community Food Bank - This food bank agency is building a healthier, stronger community free of hunger and Sluss+Padgett proudly gathers each year to donate our time and service to help stop hunger.
  
  
• Norcross Cooperative Ministries - a faith based nonprofit organization dedicated to providing emergency assistance to local families. Every year Sluss+Padgett holds a toy drive to provide children gifts for the holidays. Last year we donated hundreds of toys to bring joy to these children in their time of need and are looking forward to exceeding that amount each year.
  
  
• Susan G Komen - we have raised money for Susan G Komen to help save lives by investing in breakthrough research to prevent and cure breast cancer.

• Corners Outreach - Sluss+Padgett donated school supplies and snacks to their program to assist as a catalyst for 100% high school graduation & improved career opportunities for underemployed parents in our community.

• Eagle Ranch - Our Service department donated $500 and their time over 2 days to install thermostats and air purifying units in the homes at Eagle Ranch.
  

• Northwest Christian Church - We donated and installed all the HVAC equipment for this new Food Pantry so they can make a greater impact on their local community and provide food for approximately 80 families per week.

• Street Grace - we have partnered with Street Grace, a non-profit organization that mobilizes communities to eradicate the Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children.

• Street Wise - Sluss+ Padgett partnered with Street Wise, a non-profit organization that offers the necessary physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual tools to help people stabilize their lives, improve their environment, and move out of a state of dependency into a state of well-being and self-sufficiency. We loaded over 150 cars with food and and Easter baskets for children.

• CPR - Canine Pet Rescue - Canine Pet Rescue is a 501c non-profit animal rescue organization focusing on saving German Shepherds from high kill shelters in the South. Sluss+Padgett donated 15 bags of dog food, 10 bottles of vitamins, and toys to CPR. In addition to the donation we volunteered our time to help out at the shelter by cleaning kennels putting out mulch, trimming bushes, mowing, and repairing kennel doors. • Marine Corps Reserve - Toys for Tots - The primary goal of Marine Toys for Tots is, through the gift of a new toy, help bring the joy of Christmas and send a message of hope to America's less fortunate children.
